AIDMK Candidates are not pesky about Kerala Assembly election results 2011.Their joy comes from transcending boundaries. Who knows C.Sampath or Mallika ,the trump cards of AIDMK in Kerala? They have not tasted the fruit of victory ,but they are savouring the victory of their ‘amma’ ,the AIDMNK supremo Jayalalitha. In the 13th Kerala Assembly elections four candidates from Puratchi Thalaivi Jayalalitha’s All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) were on the fray. Every year on an average at least five candidates would contest the elections. They are contesting for their ‘amma’. This year party’s state committee member C.Sampath contested from Palakkad constituency .He grabbed 337 votes. Mallika one of the sate committee member contested from Idukki constituency and acquired 667 votes. Another candidate Sugunan who contested from Nenmara constituency , got the highest vote for AIDMK ie ,1267 votes. T.Sundararaman ‘participated’ from Kalamasherry. They are not worried about their defeat in the elections, but happy for Thalaivi’s stunning victory over DMK. Idukki and Palakkad hold unique Tamil influence not only in geography but also in culture and style. But it’s annoying to note that such contesting attempts are not witnessed in the southern constituencies of kerala which are heavily Tamil prone areas.
